The Founder

After working for years in different environments, from public accounting to private industry, Ken Jones, CPA, still found himself searching for the idealistic “perfect job.” He had a vision of starting every morning excited about what opportunities and challenges the day would bring, operating in a team environment composed of the brightest and most creative minds and focusing all of his efforts on delivering value and excellent service.

An entrepreneur at heart, Ken realized the only way to realize his vision was to create it. In 2000, he did just that and founded The Lyndon Group, LLC. Lyndon Group is a professional services firm specializing in project engagements in accounting, finance, IT, governance, risk and compliance serving public and private companies around the world.

The Model: Experience, Value and Results

From the beginning, Ken stayed true to his vision, setting Lyndon Group apart from other similar companies. Knowing that a service based business is only as good as the people it employs; Ken sought out highly knowledgeable and talented individuals who shared his same mindset. Lyndon Group’s professionals have a minimum of 10 years of diversified experience within Big 4 accounting firms, industry-leading corporations and successful emerging growth organizations which gives them an understanding of a company from the client’s perspective.

Lyndon Group differs from traditional professional service providers by having a low risk and overhead profile. Because Lyndon Group does not conduct certified audits or support a tax research group, it does not include these costs, or other non-client valued overhead, in its billing rates. This gives Lyndon Group the ability to create real value for our clients in the services that they receive from experienced professionals.

Lyndon Group also differentiates itself in its flexibility and scalability of its service delivery to clients. They can provide resources for a short term project of a few hours, on a part time basis or a larger team to work with clients as part of a larger co-sourced or completely outsourced team.
