Ronauld (Ron) C. Prowell leads the Financial Management Service practice for Lyndon Group which help business owners of emerging to medium sized enterprises produce meaningful financial information that is fully integrated into the decision making process. Mr. Prowell has over 25 years of diversified experience public accounting and management positions with privately held enterprises.

Experience

Prior to joining Lyndon Group, Prowell was the President and Chief Financial Officer of American Leisure Products, a retailer with five Southern California locations selling aftermarket truck accessories, camping trailers and truck campers. At American Leisure, he successfully negotiated the acquisition of three retail businesses, launched a commercial vehicle up-fitting division, and managed the business through a 50% downturn in retail sales related to a turbulent overall economy.

Prior to American Leisure, Prowell served as CFO, COO and President of Books On Tape, a pioneer and leading publisher of unabridged audio books in the US with distribution through direct to consumer mail order programs and through sales to public libraries, public schools, and retail establishments. After five short years of hands on operating and management experience at Books On Tape, he successfully helped position and negotiate the sale of the company to a strategic buyer.

Prior to his career in private industry, Prowell was a founding partner in the public accounting firm of Doran, Rapattoni & Prowell where he served primarily privately held businesses in retail, distribution, manufacturing, construction and real estate development. His career began in public accounting at Deloitte in the audit department eventually becoming Audit Manager.
