Services

LG’s ethics and compliance practice can provide your organization the assistance you need to meet your goals of enhancing entity level controls – the “tone at the top”. Whether you are implementing a new program, initiating key elements, or measuring performance of existing processes, we assist organizations in an effective and efficient manner. Using an objective and openly vetted framework established by the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG), LG can help you develop and/or improve ethics and compliance capabilities (or a program).

We can assist you in assessing that adequate processes have been established in your organization to ensure it is operating within the laws and regulations (your “mandated boundary”), and help to ensure that you are also monitoring whether you are keeping to other commitments such as your Code of Ethics/Conduct, internal policies, and contractual obligations (typically defined as your “voluntary boundary”). We can help design and implement repeatable processes and procedures to ensure that management is made aware when the organization is getting close to (or crossing) a boundary. All of this will help the organization by enhancing the corporate culture and stakeholder value, preparing and protecting the organization, reducing errors and losses, and optimizing internal return on investment (ROI).

We can also provide your organization with a one time and/or periodic evaluation of your organization’s governance, risk and compliance (GRC) capabilities. LG shares OCEG’s view that periodic evaluations are an essential element and a key control that benefits stakeholders, the board and others with organizational oversight responsibilities.
